- Description
- Incomplete tuning peg, one end broken away, the other end carved in the form of two bird heads. The elongated necks of the birds form the shaft which is decorated around the circumference by three equally spaced incised lines and a vertical line on opposing sides. The bird necks emerge from the mouths of two carved dragonesque animal heads which match the symmetry of the bird heads. On all the heads the eyes are indicated by ring-and-dot motifs
