Description: A rectified photographic survey of the church was carried out and a minor excavation investigating earlier floor levels and a burial was conducted. A coffin lid, thought to be of Roman date, was encountered 0.50m below the ground surface.

Excavations outside the church tower were conducted by P.A. Rahtz and Lorna Watts.
