Description: A geophysical survey located various sub-surface linear anomolies. Three trenches were dug by machine across the lines of these features revealing 0.4m of topsoil above natural silty sand. In this sand, at a depth of 0.9m, was a layer of cobbles apparently aligned along a natural geological terrace.
