A machined section was recorded. Limestone blocks were interpreted as part of a stone-lined and capped drain. This feature and road metalling were of Roman date and had already been recorded in the main excavation carried out on this site.
Floor deposits and pit cuts were interpreted as associated with timber structures constructed on the north-west side of the road. - Type
