- From the medieval period until 1962-3, Grape Lane was occupied by a sequence of buildings. It appears likely that the building at 2 Grape Lane was demolished at the same time as those occupying 59-63 Low Petergate. While this plot was again developed in 1981, the plot at 2 Grape Lane remained vacant.
