- Description
- Observations were made of the removal of a varying depth of deposits, to a maximum of 2.50m, in the course of replacing floors at this property. Beneath the Victorian floor levels these deposits were interpreted as a series of dumps which dated from the Roman period. A post medieval brick lined well was also encountered.
