- This investigation has examined readily available historical and archaeological data around the development plot of 2B and 3B Main Road, Weaverthorpe, North Yorkshire. This has shown a considerable density of archaeological remains to be present in the area of Weaverthorpe village. It is possible that such remains may be present within the development plot. In particular there is a likelihood that what appears to be a building depicted on a map of 1801 may impinge on the site.
