Reconstructed body and rim fragment of a tall, two handled Cistercian Ware mug fragment with a brown high gloss glaze and applied pale yellow light clay decoration.
The mug has an oxidised fabric which has been high fired with minimum inclusions. It is decorated with thin strips and rouletting. - Excavation
