Reconstructed base, body and rim fragment of a tall, two handled Cistercian Ware mug with mid brown glaze and applied pale yellow light clay decoration.
The mug has an oxidised fabric which has been high fired with minimum inclusions. It is decorated with crude acanthus and palms motifs. This mug is a Wrenthorpe type. - Excavation
