Reconstructed base, body and handle fragment of a tall, two handled Cistercian Ware mug with mid brown glaze and no decoration.
The mug has an oxidised fabric which has been high fired with minimum inclusions. There are straight lines across the underside of the base, suggesting that it has been taken off the wheel or drying surface when it was motionless. The mug has the remains of the base of two handles. - Excavation
