Description
Papal bulla. It is sub-discoidal and largely complete but with damage at both ends around the central vertical channel. A secondary perforation right through the bulla pierces the lettering of the Saints names on the obverse. On the reverse most of the lettering spelling out the Pope's name has been worn away, but enough remains to identify as CELESTINUS III.
