Title
A0726 Ideal Laundry, Trinity Lane
Alternative Title
1991.5 Ideal Laundry, Trinity Lane
Description
Two trenches revealed evidence of a complex sequence of occupation in the late Roman period represented by dumping of large amounts of building demolition debris and pit digging. Shallow pits and a possible cemetery demonstrate activity on the site in the Anglo-Scandinavian period. A series of medieval pits and post-medieval garden soil indicate activity behind houses fronting on to Trinity Lane in this period.
