Reconstructed rim fragment of Earthenware storage vessel with tin-glaze. The painted decoration is blue and red using line and dot motifs. The fragment may be from an albarello, a well-known tin-glazed product which took the shape of a cylindrical jar with constricted base and short, wide neck.
Heworth-type Earthenware Storage Vessel
Reconstructed rim and handle fragment of Heworth-type Earthenware storage vessel. The fragment has brown glaze and the remains of the handle is attached at the rim. The upper part of the body has been decorated with a band of rouletting.
Ryedale Ware Storage Vessel
Rim and handle fragment of Ryedale Ware storage vessel with yellow-green glaze. There may be a decorative thumb impression next to the handle but it is unclear due to where the vessel has broken.
