Lead Alloy Papal Bulla Papal bulla. The bulla reads Urbanus VI (pope 1378-1389). There is no trace of braid/ribbon visible. -
Lead Alloy Papal Bulla Papal bulla. It is sub-discoidal and largely complete but with damage at both ends around the central vertical channel. A secondary perforation right through the bulla pierces the lettering of the Saints names on the obverse. On the reverse most of the lettering spelling out the Pope's name has been worn away, but enough remains to identify as CELESTINUS III.
